A simple glaze.  Easy grilling, especially when using a Forman grill.  And in ten minutes you have an exquisite-tasting entree, perfect for the family during the week or for guests on the weekend. Too sweet, or not lemony enough?  Simply adjust flavors to your taste buds.

Servings: 4
Yields: steaks + ⅔ cup glaze (approx)

Ingredients

Cooking spray
4- 6 oz salmon steaks
salt/pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Zest 1 lemon
¼ cup Fifty50 Low Glycemic Maple Syrup
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced

Directions

  1. Coat the grill with cooking spray and preheat on HIGH. Place the salmon on a plate, season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients to a small mixing bowl and whisk thoroughly.
  3. Generously brush the glaze on the salmon and place on the grill. Grill for 5 minutes (more or less according to personal taste), brushing occasionally until all the glaze is used.

Serve immediately.
